Ruben Aronov, founder and owner of MOI Studio, is a master barber with over 15 years of experience. After successfully running Freemans Barbershop and MOI Barbershop, he has launched a new studio on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Recognized for his expertise, Ruben has been featured in WWD, Mr. Porter, and other leading publications. A dedicated mentor, he has cultivated a team that includes many of his former students, continuing his legacy of excellence in barbering.

Marshall
With over 20 years of experience, Marshall has provided grooming services for leading brands such as VH1, BET, NBC, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, and Bevel, with his work featured in Essence Magazine and Shop Talk. As a Master Barber, he has styled a diverse clientele, including celebrities, mastering all hair types and textures. Since 2015, he has furthered his impact as a Barber Instructor at New York City’s top barbering schools.

Originally from Arizona, Dom arrives in New York City with a decade of experience and a passion for precision. Known for his sharp cuts and attention to detail, he tailors each haircut to the individual. Having started his craft at a young age, he continues to refine his skills daily. His dedication to the art of barbering has now led him to join the MOI family.

Ali joined MOI in 2020 after decades of owning and operating his own salon at Astor Place. A hairstylist since 1968, he has worked in renowned fashion shows, global competitions, and alongside celebrities. As a distinguished member of hairstylist federations such as The Moroccan Federation of Hairdressers, Club Artistic, and The National Moroccan Club for Hairdressers, Ali brings a wealth of expertise to the team. Notably, he secured 5th place in the 1982 World Hairstyling Competition.

Obrigado! Hailing from beautiful Brazil, Juliano makes his way to the Big Apple to stake his claim.
